Overall Goal:
The Social Determinants of Health Lab at UC Merced focuses on environmental and social factors that affect health outcomes and health behaviors, paying particular attention to the ways in which social and environmental factors contribute to health inequalities. This lab has a particular mission to examine the social determinants of health and the resulting health outcomes in California and the San Joaquin Valley.

UC Merced is part of a 4 site study looking at health related advertisements and their content. We are currently collecting advertisements from the UC Merced area.
