Produce on the Go

A new food truck has arrived at UC Merced! Produce on the Go, the new provider that comes to campus every Wednesday, intends to provide each student with the opportunity to access fresh local produce at an affordable price. The workers provided free samples of healthy snacks, a raffle for students to win prizes, free buttons, and free tote bags.

Not an Invitation, Never an Excuse

Several clubs and organizations hosted the event entitled “Not an Invitation, Never an Excuse.” They promoted the destruction of social gender boundaries and rape culture. Students take a break from midterms to eat free pizza and play soccer right before spring break. Some students played soccer with others and other students just juggled the soccer ball. Swap Till’ You Drop!

At this event, students were encouraged to trade in clothes. Donations were also accepted too. Food and snacks were provided for all students, and people were allowed to create their own clothing if they didn’t bring any clothes to donate.

Hernandez-Hermosillo Passing
