Pang Vang published oral health paper in UC Merced Undergrad Research Journal

Pang Vang, has recently published a paper based off of data gathered by the Social Determinants of Health Lab.  Her paper, published in the UC Merced Undergraduate Research Journal was titled The Importance of Advocating for Oral Health Education Programs on College Campuses:  Original Research on the Systematic Examination of Oral Health Beliefs among College Student Minorities.

Pang was a tireless researcher, and contributed a significant amount of work when she interned in my lab.

She took the lead in asking me if she could work on a research paper with fellow students from the Pre-Dental club using lab data, and her hard work paid off and the paper is published!
